Refund Policy

Effective Date: December 29, 2025

At Maha Academy, we use a Print-on-Demand model through our partner, IngramSpark. This means every book is printed specifically for your order. Because these items are custom-manufactured, we have a unique policy regarding returns and refunds.

1. No Physical Returns

To simplify the process for our global families and reduce our carbon footprint, we do not accept physical returns. If there is an issue with your order, we do not ask you to ship the book back to us. Instead, we may request that you dispose of or destroy the defective copy once your claim has been processed.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

While we do not accept returns, refunds are available in specific circumstances where the product does not meet our quality standards. Since IngramSpark handles all printing and fulfillment, we offer refunds for:

  • Manufacturing Defects: Missing pages, severe misprints, or binding errors.

  • Shipping Damage: Books that arrive torn, crushed, or otherwise damaged during transit.

  • Lost Shipments: Orders that are confirmed lost by the carrier.

3. How to Request a Refund

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at info@maha-academy.com within 7 days of delivery. To process your refund, we require:

  1. Your Order Number.

  2. Clear photos of the defect or the damaged book and packaging.

Once we verify the issue with IngramSpark, we will notify you of the approval. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

4. Final Sale Items

Because each book is printed to order, we cannot offer refunds for:

  • Change of Mind: Decisions made after the order has entered production.

  • Customer Error: Incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout or ordering the wrong title.

  • Minor Variations: Slight color shifts or minor trim variations common in professional print-on-demand services.
